The Kiwangala Community Primary School and the Early Childhood Development Centre was founded in 2006 to provide free education to orphans and vulnerable children who would not have access to education as they lack the funds for fee-based schools. Its success story experienced a highlight in 2017 as the first primary school graduates from 2013 returned to volunteer and teach current pupils.
Founded in 2015, the library provides educational material to students as well as promotes continuous learning opportunities to the members of the community after leaving school. It is planned to establish computer learning courses for children and adults in the first half of 2018 as this crucial skill is hardly accessible for people in rural areas.
